Pinterest can be a very important tool to use in the classroom, especially when you need help planning a fun learning assignment for your students. You can use pinterest to compare some of the activities that you have done in your classroom with activities that other educators have used in their classrooms. You can also us pinterest to have your students find assignments for science and art fairs.
I used pinterest to find assignments similar to one I created about scientific observations. i completed my assignment about 'Inflating a Balloon" using vinegar and baking soda to show how a balloon could be blown up by the gas created between the two ingredients. I learned that not only did the balloon inflate with those two ingredients but too much of those ingredients can cause the balloon to burst. While looking on pinterest  I seen how other individuals had done assignments very similar to mines, while using different ingredients. Below are pictures that I captured in chronological order while completing the assignment and a link to my project itself.
All of the supplies needed for the project

Step 1: cover the bottom of the funnel with a balloon

Step 2: Pour baking soda threw the funnel inside the balloon

Step 3: Pour vinegar into the empty bottle

Step 4: Attach the balloon (with baking soda inside) to cover
the bottle, without getting baking soda into the bottle

Step 6: Observe as that balloon inflates, while the
chemicals make gases when they are combined
Step 5: Hold balloon upright so that the baking soda
will fall into the bottle of vinegar

The balloon will continue to inflate

As the baking soda dissolves into the vinegar,
the balloon will continue to stay inflated
